platform account security

while we need access to your accounts on the different betting platforms to place bets on your behalf, it is in our interest to keep your accounts safe and secure. that is why we have implemented a public security framework that separates us from dubious players in the industry. the framework consists of 4 main pillars.

1. legal accountability
   dionys.app chose to establish a swiss company (innovative technology solutions gmbh) that is subject to swiss law. this separates us from dubious players in the industry, who have their businesses located in legally unprosecutable territories. with its history in banking and finance, switzerland is known as a highly regulated and secure place for businesses in the field of investing and the laws are very consumer-friendly. you can find information about the company and it’s directors in our imprint and in the official swiss company register.

2. separation of money streams
   we will never withdraw or transfer your funds that you have deposited with any platform. this is stated in our terms and conditions*, and by consenting you give us a power of attorney that is limited to obtaining your account information & balances, the placement of bets and collecting information about settled bets. we explicitly exclude withdrawals or transferring of funds, which gives you legal power. since we charge you by credit card only, that is the reason why we require you to add one before you can start using our software.

3. limitations by the platforms
   dionys.app requests as little access as necessary to execute its betting software, which for most platforms is an api key. many platforms do not allow withdrawals only by api key, or they have a broker in between, thus it is technically not possible for us to withdraw or transfer your funds from these platforms. furthermore, we encourage our users to activate 2-factor-authentication (2FA) on the betting platforms, wherever it is available. read more about the recommended platform settings.

4. highest security standards
   we apply the highest encryption standards to protect sensitive user data. all information is secured using advanced cryptographic protocols both in transit and at rest. we follow industry best practices, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and security at every stage. our systems are continuously monitored and updated to meet evolving standards, guaranteeing that user data remains safe, private, and accessible only to authorised processes.
